One of my favorite things about the Bible is how it will often give commentary on itself. Psalm 106 is primarily a commentary on the events of the Torah after God delivered the Israelites from Egyptian tyranny. The psalm’s lost author praises the LORD (YHWH) for His forgiveness towards Israel after all the terrible things they’ve done as a nation.
